The sunshiny day, we are the world
learning R #
Installing R went smoothly. Spring is here, but the night is still cold. I'm reading Factfulness, and Art of R Programming. I am also building a freelancer business, with persistence, on Upwork.
Small steps in the counting art #
Counting all the elements, when all the elements are counted, AxB, AxA, and BxB, finding that all of the Q is - is an awesome feeling
The task seemed too complex to see, as if we were guessing the elements, and the meaning of the abstract notation: then seeing all the elements in the simpler form, it feels like a relief.
I will try to write a few words on this picture.
Euclidean geomtery. Un angulo obtuso es menos que un angulo recto.
Using {}
curly braces makes it more explicit that elements are of a set. AxB, the Cartesian product. $N^n$ is all of the possible choices when we put elements back into the box after each choose. $N^n$ is A+B
.
The Pythegorean theorem $x^2+y^2=z^2$ describes a circle. This is so cool!
I look at $2^2$, or x^2
, of the graph of the circle, and wonder how it connects to $N^2$, combinatorially.
While doing yoga you can count in 7s, 6s, or any other numbers, for extra stimulation, and neuroplasticity.
